IAESTE Day

• Is intended to promote IAESTE internationally
• Each year will have a theme to help you focus your IAESTE Day event. This year's theme is 'Alumni'
• Is a national event and the responsibility for its organization and content is solely up to the participating member country.
• Is organized by participating NCs and LCs in as many IAESTE countries as possible. The countries themselves decide whether or not they want to participate in IAESTE Day
• Is NOT an official event of IAESTE A.s.b.l. and is is run on a voluntary basis.

Aims of IAESTE Day:

• To maintain good relationships with your participating companies
• To build new relationships
• To highlight your successes and share the outcomes of your hard work with others
• To celebrate the global organisation that is IAESTE!
• To make use of IAESTE Day to raise new jobs and sponsorship
• To promote the IAESTE Alumni Network

Idea and general concept:

• IAESTE Day is the concept, but the ideas are up to you!
• Each year will have a theme to help you focus your IAESTE Day event
• This year's theme is 'Alumni - Remembering friends'
• We want to you contact as many of your current and former members and bring them together for a celebration of all things IAESTE!
• We want you to use this great opportunity to engage with former trainees who may now be in a position to help you with jobs/sponsorship

IAESTE Day helps to support IAESTE's aims, which are:

• To be a source of cultural enrichment for trainees and their host communities
• to promote international understanding and goodwill amongst students, academic institutions, employers and the wider community
• IAESTE operates irrespective of race, colour, sex or creed
